AKB48 THREE CONCEPTS LIVE in K-Arena Yokohama」の最終公演「推しが『好きish』コンサート」を開催した。

AKB48’s Airi Sato Tops the “Favorite Member” Ranking at the “Oshi ga ‘Sukiish’ Concert”

AKB48 held the final performance of its three-part concert series, “Supported by Lawson Ticket AKB48 THREE CONCEPTS LIVE in K-Arena Yokohama,” at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa on September 27. The final show, titled “Oshi ga ‘Sukiish’ Concert,” featured a unique fan-participation format in which members were ranked according to the number of applications for their designated “oshi seats,” with the results incorporated into the stage production.

17th-generation member Airi Sato claimed the No. 1 spot, followed by Yui Oguri in second place and Momoka Ito in third.

The concert opened with the members appearing directly in their respective “oshi seat” areas, where they performed “Sukiish,” “Honest Man,” and “AKB Festival” while moving through the audience. After gathering on stage for “If I Hadn’t Been an Idol” and “#Sukinandaa,” the ranking results were announced, creating excitement throughout the venue as each member’s name appeared on the screen.

Sato’s No. 1 ranking was met with loud cheers, and she subsequently took center stage for “Flying Get.” She also delivered a solo performance of “First Rabbit,” showcasing her expressive vocals and energetic dancing. With thousands of penlights and enthusiastic calls from the audience supporting her, Sato demonstrated a strong stage presence worthy of the top-ranked member.

The top five members were each given a solo stage. Mizuki Yamauchi, who ranked fifth, performed “Akai Pin Heel to Professor,” while Narumi Kuranoo, ranked fourth, performed “Sougen no Kiseki.” Third-place Momoka Ito chose “Yobisutе Fantasy,” highlighting her graceful and charming presence, while second-place Yui Oguri performed “Ai no Sonzai,” delivering the song’s warmth with her characteristic composure.

Ito also spoke openly about the emotional connection she felt with fans, revealing during the MC segment that she was so moved by the fans waving their penlights when she appeared in the audience that she became tearful and could not sing the first verse of “Sukiish.” During the encore, she described the experience as feeling like “a ball of love” being exchanged between the members and fans.

The concert also featured unit performances by members ranked lower in the overall standings, as well as a distinctive stage setup with tiered platforms where members could watch and support one another. The interactive elements extended to the seating lottery, with members joking and exchanging words directly with fans based on the results.

Toward the end of the main performance, all members sang “Arigatou” as a message of gratitude to their fans. Some members became visibly emotional, creating a heartfelt moment that reflected the strong bond between AKB48 and its audience.

During the encore, the members once again moved through the “oshi seat” areas. Narumi Kuranoo expressed her desire to share the view of Tokyo Dome with both her fellow members and their fans, while Momoka Ito spoke about meeting the fans as a “miracle” and her hope of sharing even bigger dreams with them.

The evening concluded with a surprise announcement: AKB48 will hold a concert at the First Gymnasium of the National Yoyogi Stadium on February 20, 2027. Kuranoo promised that the group would return having grown even further since its spring concert at the venue.

The members then performed “Sukiish” once more, bringing the two-day “AKB48 THREE CONCEPTS LIVE” to a close amid enthusiastic calls from the audience.

With three completely different setlists across the three concerts—excluding the new song “Sukiish”—the series featured a total of 111 song titles. Among them, the final “Oshi ga ‘Sukiish’ Concert” stood out as a uniquely AKB48-style participatory show, transforming fans’ support for their favorite members into a visible ranking that directly influenced the performance.

At the center of it all was Airi Sato, whose No. 1 ranking led to her taking center position for “Flying Get” and performing “First Rabbit” as a soloist. Yui Oguri, Momoka Ito, and the other members also showcased their individual strengths, making the concert a memorable celebration of the close relationship between AKB48 and its fans.
